Like most people in the business, Jeffry Lowden (Director of Sky West) ended up in the property management business from owning real estate. During that time, he learned many valuable lessons that are the corner stone of his clients’ success today:
- One, just because you have the units rented the property (and tenants) still need attention
- Two, you have to know a property (inside and out) in order to stay ahead of the problems
- Three, you have to know your tenants and they have to know you
- Four, you have to have a plan (what makes the property unique) for the property and market the property to your plan
At the present time, Sky West manages properties all over the West Coast within their own company and for clients large and small. The services include yet are not limited to:
Offer complete booking keeping services to monitor income and expense, current rent roll and provide quarterly reports (along with a dividend check) to ensure full and clear financial understandings. Collect security deposits, monthly lease payments and process into appropriate client accounts in a secure and efficient manner.
Coordinate all repairs with our fully-licensed personnel and respond to needs according to observation and tenant suggestions. Offer 24/7 emergency maintenance assistance.
Assess property and tenant locations on a scheduled basis.
Visit the property on a monthly basis so our tenants see us and know that we care
Send notes, cards and quarterly news and information to keep people informed
